About the Role

Hourly Wage to Start: $30.50/Hour as per the collective agreement.

Drive for the premiere Ready‑Mix Provider. This isn’t just a driving job; it’s a career with Amrize Canada Inc., a leader in the Ontario construction industry. We are looking for dedicated Class AZ or DZ drivers to be responsible for the secure and timely delivery of concrete to various job sites in and around Arthur, Ontario & surrounding areas.

• Safely transport and deliver ready‑mix concrete to iconic infrastructure and residential projects.
• Operate late‑model, well‑maintained Class AZ or DZ trucks (mainly automatic transmission) and perform meticulous pre/post‑trip inspections.
• Act as a professional brand ambassador on‑site, fostering strong relationships with our diverse customer base.
• Champion a Zero Harm culture by adhering to strict health, safety, and environmental policies.
• Take advantage of internal promotion opportunities and professional development within our global network.
• Perform daily inspections of assigned ready‑mix trucks and document findings.
• Load and unload concrete according to strict safety procedures and customer mix specifications.
• Maintain digital/manual delivery logs and complete all necessary project paperwork.
• Promote a culture of safety and exhibit these behaviours in all work environments and areas.

• Licensing: Valid Class AZ or DZ Driver's License with an Air Brake (Z) endorsement.
• Technical Skill: Proven experience operating manual transmissions.
• Experience: Previous experience in construction delivery or heavy vehicle operation is an asset; training is provided for those new to the industry.
• Reliability: A clean driving record (CVOR/Abstract) and a rock‑solid commitment to safety.
• Physical Readiness: Ability to handle the physical demands of the role, including climbing truck ladders and lifting chutes up to 50 pounds.
• Flexibility: Availability for Monday to Friday shifts, with Saturdays and evenings as required.
• Additional Requirements: Must meet requirements for distance, peripheral, and depth perception; comfortable working in various outdoor weather conditions and near moving mechanical parts.
• Safety & PPE: Successful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Amrize approved Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), including respirators where required.
