Become an AZ Delivery Driver with Canada Cartage, based in Oshawa. This full-time position is dedicated to safely transporting cargo while meeting delivery schedules and adhering to regulations.
We are looking for an experienced driver—minimum one year with a Class AZ or Class 1 license is essential. In this role, you will conduct pre-trip inspections, manage documentation for cargo, and maintain communication with dispatchers to ensure a smooth operation. Loading and unloading duties require careful attention to secure all items to prevent damage.
Key Responsibilities:
• Drive the truck while following safety protocols
• Complete vehicle inspections pre and post trips
• Handle shipping documents for all deliveries
• Oversee the loading and unloading of cargo
• Communicate with dispatcher for updates and issues
Requirements:
• One year minimum driving experience
• Class AZ / Class 1 Commercial Driver License required
• Must lift up to 50 lbs
• International driving experience accepted
• Ready for highway runs across Ontario
