Street Sweeper Operator; G License

Position: Street Sweeper Operator (G License)
Location: Bowmanville

We are a reputable and professional road cleaning company looking to hire experienced G licensed drivers to operate street sweepers full time commencing beginning of April 2026.

We are looking to hire an operator who is thorough and we can count on to do proper maintenance to their machine i.e.: greasing & washing daily.

Operators must also be professional and friendly. We pride ourselves on top notch customer service. We need our customers to have a positive experience from the services we provide from start to finish. Operators must be conscious of their work and always put fourth their best effort.

As a street sweeper operator your duties will be to sweep public roadways, parking lots and job sites.

As a street sweeper operator you must have the following:

Friendly and positive attitude towards coworkers and customers

Ability to navigate to different job sites via your own gps

Take pride in your machine (daily greasing and washing)

Good written skills and communication

Hard hat and work boots

Be very thorough and observant

Be able to hand in paperwork daily

Safety conscious

Have a clean driving record and valid "G" license

Have basic mechanical knowledge to complete a proper pre trip and be able to identify mechanical issues. Advanced mechanical knowledge is an asset.

Please note a typical day shift can range from 11-13 hours. So please do not apply if that does not interest you.

We are ideally looking for long term operators who want a company to grow and stay with. If your looking for seasonal employment April to December, enjoy winters off and return to work in spring that is ideal. We can also accommodate year round work with hours being lighter in the winter.

Prior street sweeping experience is an asset, not a must. We are willing to train.

Please note our equipment is new and you will share a truck with another operator as we work day and night shift. You must be courteous and leave the equipment clean and do not smoke in it. We emphasize on having a respectful and positive work atmosphere.

We also provide benefits which are company paid.

Anything over 44 hours is paid as overtime. Pay is bi weekly.

Rate of pay will be negotiated based on experience.

This position is full time Monday to Friday.

Occasional weekend work is mandatory which is scheduled in advance.

Day shift and night shift positions available.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $21.00-$23.00 per hour
