Location: Whitby
Become a driver with Rapid City Transportation, specializing in non-emergency medical services. Deliver essential transport for those in need while driving accessible vehicles throughout Ontario.
We value mature, empathetic individuals with strong customer service abilities. In this role, you will operate company-provided vehicles while assisting passengers in getting in and out safely. Typically working Monday to Friday, you also have the chance to volunteer for weekend shifts.
Key Responsibilities:
• Transport clients safely in wheelchair accessible vans
• Assist with luggage and other passenger needs
• Maintain communication with dispatch while on the road
• Adhere to all safety regulations rigorously
• Ensure calm and secure transportation experiences
Requirements:
• 10 years of driving experience with a valid G License
• Able to lift 50 pounds and maintain good health
• Valid CPR Certificate; company pays for renewals
• Familiarity with navigation systems and GPS usage
• Strong understanding of the Greater Toronto Area
