Snow Plow Operator; AZ

Position: Snow Plow Operator (AZ)
Location: Port Perry

Minimum Qualifications

AZ or DZ license with a clean driver’s abstract/CVOR

Available to respond to call‑ins within thirty minutes

Ability to operate a loader and perform maintenance duties such as patrolling, patching, and minor equipment maintenance

Ability to work assigned shifts, including extended hours (evenings, weekends, nights, and holidays) as winter events require

Willingness to work in extreme weather conditions

Preferred Qualifications

Ability to drive manual transmission

Previous experience in winter‑works operations

Mechanical knowledge, ability to perform routine maintenance and minor repairs to equipment

Good understanding of MTO standards and AMC Contract Performance Requirements

Compensation
Hourly rate: $24‑$35/hr

Responsibilities

Operate a combo plow unit to perform snow removal on local roads and highways according to contract requirements

Maintain accurate documentation, including fuel reports, safety reports, and hours of service

Maintain, clean, and perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on equipment

Familiarize with route maps and sand/salt application rates

Meet call‑in requirements during winter storm events
