Supervisor, Driver
Job Summary
The Driver Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the driver team, ensuring efficient transportation, adherence to safety and compliance regulations, and delivering excellent customer service. The role involves scheduling, monitoring performance, training, and resolving operational issues to optimize delivery and fleet operations.
Responsibilities
Provide feedback, coaching, and training to Drivers to enhance efficiency and address performance issues.
Resolve work problems and recommend measures to improve performance and efficiency.
Participate in recruitment and onboarding activities for new drivers.
Ensure compliance with Canadian and US transportation regulations.
Participate in accident reporting and investigation processes.
Reinforce adherence to safety protocols to minimize risks.
Prepare and deliver annual performance reviews for drivers.
Monitor and administer the Drug & Alcohol Program.
Monitor and manage attendance, time‑off schedules to ensure adherence to company policies.
Academic/Educational Requirements
Completion of Secondary School Diploma.
Fleet Driver Trainer Certification.
Required Skills & Experience
5 years of truck driving experience.
Valid AZ License.
Working knowledge of MTO and USDOT requirements.
Experience with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and fleet management software.
Excellent communication and problem‑solving skills.
