Position: AZ Shunt Driver for Night Shifts

Canada Cartage is on the lookout for safety-focused drivers for full-time night shifts, running from Sunday to Thursday. You will be responsible for moving trailers and transporting freight while complying with safety and regulatory standards. Your dedication to customer service will play a critical role in our operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely transport freight across Ontario using shunt trucks

• Manage 15-25 trailer movements each shift

• Conduct vehicle inspections prior to and after trips

• Maintain accurate documentation and eLogs

• Ensure compliance with all safety policies

Requirements:

• Valid AZ driver’s license; clean CVOR required

• Minimum 1-year AZ driving experience

• At least 6 months of shunting experience

• Understand road safety and securement well

• Able to handle lifting up to 50 lbs as necessary
