Deliver mail and parcels as an on-call agent with Canada Post, using safe driving and customer service skills. Work outdoors year-round.
This temporary delivery agent position makes you the face of Canada Post in your community. You will sort deliveries, operate a postal vehicle, and serve customers and businesses. The work includes delivery by foot or vehicle, followed by depot duties.
Key Responsibilities:- Sort and prepare daily mail and parcel deliveries
- Load and drive a Canada Post postal vehicle
- Deliver mail and packages along assigned routes
- Return to the depot with incoming deliveries
- Unload mail and parcels for later delivery
- Valid Class 5 or Class G driver’s licence
- Safe driving record for at least three years
- Ability to lift up to 22.7 kilograms
- Ability to work outdoors in all weather
- Availability for on-call work and English and/or French
