We are looking for team members to join our diverse warehouse team to play an instrumental role in providing Wellness products and so much more to our Canadian customers! The Inventory Control Specialist role is perfect for those who enjoy helping Canadians, collaborating across teams and have the autonomy to work independently.
The Inventory Control Specialist will work under the direction of the Team Lead and will be responsible for Special Warehouse Projects and other inventory maintenance tasks as outlined below. Associates in this role are responsible for maintaining the accuracy and efficiency of our inventory in the distribution center, as well as for reporting any discrepancies, damages, or otherwise problematic occurrences with products in a timely and effective manner.
$18.48 per hour with the opportunity to receive monthly bonuses!
Work Schedule:
Monday to Friday 6am-2pm

Responsibilities
Maintain inventory stock numbers on the shelves on all overstock products
Accountable for correcting inventory counts of products as problems arise
Perform regular audits and reconciliations on existing inventory
Restock samples as needed
Investigate and resolve any quality control issues by monitoring emails and reporting back to the Team Lead
Perform to the ongoing standards of 's key metric indicators and performance metrics
Report any, and all discrepancies, including damages, unsafe/unsanitary conditions to the Team Lead immediately
Ensure that up to date expiry checks are being performed and fall within the rules and restriction guidelines
Make ongoing recommendations for department improvement to the Team Lead
Assist with all other warehouse projects, including but not limited to, inventory product moves, adding and removing locations and warehouse reorganization
Operation of a forklift required
Other duties as required
Qualifications
2-years of experience in a warehouse environment
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Analytical and detail oriented
Excellent time management skills
Highly organized
Self-motivated, initiative-driven, and team-minded
Forklift experience is considered an assist
Working Environment
This position is in a warehouse environment and requires extended periods of walking and standing. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
