In this vital manufacturing & logistics position, you will be deeply involved in the daily operations of a large-scale facility. Your day-to-day will involve utilizing power equipment to manage inventory and fulfill orders seamlessly. This role requires individuals who are comfortable working at heights, as utilizing a cherry picker or order picker is a fundamental aspect of the job. Whether you are navigating the aisles to stage customer orders or conducting essential cycle counts, your contribution ensures the overarching success of the distribution center.

We are looking for someone who is adaptable, physically capable, and ready to tackle both equipment operation and general labour tasks within a warehouse setting.

Regarding language requirements for this role, proficiency in English is required to successfully navigate daily tasks, communicate with team members, and understand safety protocols within the Oshawa facility. Bilingualism is not a strict requirement for this specific position, but strong English communication skills are essential for reading production schedules and ensuring compliance with all operational directives.

• Set scheduling with Week One running 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM (Sundays to Wednesdays) and Week Two running 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM (Sundays to Tuesdays)

Responsibilities

• Reads production schedule, customer order, work order, shipping order, or requisition to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed

• Sorts and places materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, style, color, or product code

• Assembles customer orders from stock, stage orders and/or conveys orders to packing station or shipping department according to OH or customer pick sheet

• Loads, unloads, moves, stacks and stages products and materials using a fork lift, clamp truck, reach, cherry-picker or other power equipment

• Unloads inbound freight safely and moves products to storage locations

• Pulls and prepares product for shipment, ensuring that the exact number and type of product is loaded
