Regulatory Compliance Specialist, Financial Compliance

Responsibilities- Conduct fact-finding and investigative activities including interviews, licensing reviews, data collection, analysis, and recordkeeping.
- Prepare detailed reports summarizing findings and recommendations.
- Ensure compliance with administrative requirements applicable to export transactions, including recordkeeping, certification, and reporting.
- Map and test technology access controls to assess the effectiveness of access processes.
- Maintain strong working knowledge of federal regulatory requirements related to U.S. export compliance and Anti-Corruption, including the Export Administration Regulations (EAR), International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR), Foreign Assets Control Regulations (FACR), Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA), and UK Bribery Act.
- Advise internal stakeholders of process or policy gaps and support corrective actions.
- Assist in preparing and submitting voluntary disclosures.
- Conduct root cause analyses, design and implement corrective actions, and deliver training to promote ongoing improvement and compliance awareness.
- Support and coordinate training initiatives on export compliance and anti-bribery/anti-corruption topics to maintain a knowledgeable and compliant workforce.
- Manage the day-to-day oversight of the third-party due diligence program, ensuring timely and accurate completion of initial and periodic screening.
- Evaluate third-party risk assessments to determine if further due diligence is required; request and review intelligence reports as needed.
- Ensure that due diligence results, assessments, and documentation are properly maintained.
- Compile metrics and assist with reporting on third-party due diligence, gifts and entertainment, and other compliance activities.
- Facilitate risk-based compliance reviews through data collection, analysis, and support of the review process.
- Bachelor’s degree in international business or a related field.
- 3 years of professional experience in compliance, export controls, internal audit, or a related area.
- Strong computer proficiency, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Demonstrated ability to work on confidential matters using sound judgment.
- Foundational understanding of IT systems and applications.
- Proven ability to multi-task and prioritize in a dynamic environment.
- Experience conducting audits, self-assessments, and compliance reviews.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Power BI or similar tools to support data-driven decision-making.
- Ability to collaborate effectively across all levels and departments of the organization.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented with strong follow-through skills.
Pay Range: $63,500.00 – $. The above pay range reflects the minimum and maximum target pay for the position across all U.S. locations. Within this range, individual pay is determined by various factors, including the scope and responsibilities of the role, the candidate’s experience, education and skills, as well as the equity of pay among team members in similar positions.
