Experimental Aircraft Association (EAA) is a community of aviation enthusiasts that offers the fun and camaraderie of sharing the love of flying, building, and restoring recreational aircraft. EAA hosts the Air Venture Fly-In annually at Wittman Regional Airport in Oshkosh, Wisconsin, drawing a large aviation community.

• Deliver the education curriculum at EAA for K-12 groups, Scout groups and special events.
• Teach EAA education programs with informative and hands-on interaction, covering aerodynamic forces and the mechanics and physical properties of aviation.
• Review lesson plans in preparation for delivering EAA education.
• Prepare classrooms for education programs.
• Teach at special events including Space Day, Winter Flight Fest, EAA Girl Venture Camp, Teacher Day, and other events as needed.
• Embrace and support the EAA mission and perform safe practices in the workplace and aviation environment.
• All other duties as assigned.

• Two years in an education related setting (teaching, assistant teacher, student teacher, counselor, training, etc.).
• Understanding of the principles of flight.
• Working hours will vary as needed on weekends and during the summer.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

• Teaching in a K-12 setting.

Typical office setting. Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally, and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time. Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing are required only occasionally, and all other sedentary criteria are met. Preparation for Air Venture or other events may require lifting up to 50 pounds occasionally, standing and walking for extended periods of time while bending, squatting, kneeling, twisting, and push and pull motions.
