IT Consultant, Cloud Computing, Systems Engineer
Software Guidance & Assistance, Inc. (SGA, Inc.) is searching for a Senior Cloud Engineer for an opportunity with one of our premier clients in Oshkosh, WI.
Responsibilities- Drive profitable cloud adoption, focusing on innovation and consumption of cloud-based services across the enterprise.
- Ensure the security of the cloud environment by implementing security controls, threat protection, and managing identity and access.
- Handle data feeds and integration processes to ensure seamless data exchange between systems.
- Assess innovation and vendor alignment for the continuous build-out and scaling of the cloud ecosystem.
- Provide infrastructure support to ensure operational excellence, including issue resolution, disaster recovery, and data backup standards.
- Provide day-to-day operational support of the Microsoft Azure Gov Cloud ecosystem, ensuring installations, configuration, deployments, integrations, updates, and administration are streamlined using Azure Kubernetes, Terraform Enterprise, Git Hub, and equivalent tools.
- Conduct triage and resolution of cloud ecosystem issues and outages.
- Act as an active member of project teams following senior leadership design and project plans.
- Communicate and coordinate efforts with cross-functional teams for server, storage, support, database, security, and infrastructure activities.
- Learn and adopt new technologies and best practices across cloud, continuous integration, automation, and process improvement.
- Continuously monitor and analyze cloud ecosystem performance.
- Design, implement, and operate complex solutions.
- Regular attendance is required.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Four (4) or more years of experience in the field or in a related area.
- Monitoring, troubleshooting, scripting, deployment, integration, messaging, automation, orchestration.
- Written and communication skills, problem solving, time management, teamwork, detail-oriented, customer service.
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field.
