Sr. Automation Support Developer

Sr. Intelligent Automation Support Developer (Direct Hire) - Hybrid in Oshkosh, Wisconsin.

W2 only, no C2C, must be authorized to work in the US (both now and in the future).

Carex is partnering with a global manufacturing partner to hire a Support-Focused Intelligent Automation Developer with a strong background in UiPath and Microsoft Power Platform. This role is essential to keeping automation environments stable, secure, and continuously improving. The ideal candidate is a technically skilled, proactive problem solver with a passion for automation support, strong communication skills, and relevant certifications. U.S. citizenship is required for this role.

Location:

Hybrid – 3 days on-site, 2 days remote per week. Preferred location is Oshkosh, WI, but candidates near Frederick, MD;
McConnellsburg, PA; or Hagerstown, MD will also be considered.

• Serve as the first line of technical support for production automation issues across UiPath and Microsoft Power Platform.
• Monitor, triage, and resolve production incidents within defined SLAs, providing timely updates and thorough root-cause analysis.
• Own the incident management lifecycle, including stakeholder communication and post-incident reviews.
• Develop and maintain SOPs, runbooks, and knowledge articles to support consistent operations.
• Administer UiPath Orchestrator and Power Platform environments, including roles, DLP policies, asset management, and runtime capacity.
• Drive compliance by enforcing governance across secrets, connectors, credentials, and access controls.
• Utilize Azure Dev Ops or Git-based tools for version control, CI/CD pipelines, and solution release management.
• Implement small enhancements and performance improvements across automations and workflows.
• Identify reliability risks and champion continuous improvement through reusable components and health-check automation.
• Ensure security and audit readiness through adherence to SOC controls and data protection practices.
• Collaborate with Internal Audit, IT, and Cybersecurity for access reviews and evidence collection.
• Support business users through training, best practices, and effective communication during incidents and planned maintenance.

• 4+ years of hands-on experience supporting UiPath and Microsoft Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps, Dataverse).
• Strong technical troubleshooting skills, especially in integrations (APIs, REST/SOAP), authentication, and data issues.
• Familiarity with UiPath Orchestrator, Power Platform Admin Center, and governance best practices.
• Proven experience with ITIL-aligned processes and ITSM tools (e.g., Service Now or Jira Service Management).
• Working knowledge of Azure Dev Ops, Git, solution packaging, and release management practices.
• Effective communication and storytelling abilities, especially in technical scenarios.
• Self-starter attitude with a proactive, go-getter mindset and passion for intelligent automation.

  PL-400, PL-500, PL-600, and relevant UiPath credentials (Developer Associate, Professional, or Solution Architect).
