Network Engineer

W2 only, no C2C, must be authorized to work in the US (both now and in the future).

Oshkosh, Wisconsin (also onsite in McConnellsburg, PA, Orlando, FL, or Oshkosh, WI).

Carex is partnering with a global manufacturing partner to find a skilled Network Engineer to join their onsite team. This direct hire role offers a dynamic opportunity to support service delivery and project initiatives across a global infrastructure network environment. The ideal candidate will bring 3–5 years of experience, a proactive hands‑on approach, and a strong desire to grow within the organization.

This is an onsite role based in McConnellsburg, PA, Orlando, FL or Oshkosh, WI.

• Serve as a subject matter expert in key networking technologies, contributing to service delivery improvements and project execution.
• Support and maintain Palo Alto technologies including Firewall, Panorama, Global Protect VPN, URL-Filtering, IoT Security, and PRISMA.
• Provide ongoing support for Cisco networking technologies including switching, routing (including SD‑WAN), Cisco ISE (802.1X/TACACS), DNA Center, Wireless, and ACI.
• Deliver Run‑the‑Business (RTB) support and fulfill medium‑to‑high complexity incident and service requests.
• Contribute to cross‑organizational IT projects by gathering requirements, developing recommendations, and implementing network solutions.
• Share knowledge through documentation, mentorship, and collaboration with IT teams.
• Travel to regional campuses within Pennsylvania (most under 45 minutes apart) as needed.
• Participate in on‑call rotation (Monday‑to‑Monday every 8 weeks).

• 3 or more years of experience in Information Technology or a related field.
• Proficiency with DNS, DHCP, and Cisco technologies including wireless routing and familiarity with Cisco ISE or DNA.
• Ability to develop and interpret network diagrams using Microsoft Visio.
• Effective communication and strong organizational skills with attention to detail and time management.
• Willingness to be hands‑on and support operations across the entire organization.
• Ability to travel approximately 15%.
• U.S. citizenship is required.
• Must be able to work onsite in McConnellsburg, PA, Orlando, FL, or Oshkosh, WI; remote or hybrid arrangements are not available.
• Preferred:
  Certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, CCIE, Network+, or ITIL Foundation; experience in manufacturing IT environments.
