Position: 2nd Shift General Labor Utility/Roll Hanger

Utility position:
Employees will assist machine operators in producing products safely and efficiently, ensuring product quality and packaging meet customer specifications, running with minimal process issues, assisting in achieving OEE goals, and helping maintain equipment integrity.

Monday‑Thursday: 1:40 pm‑11:40 pm

• Operate rack and saw in a safe and efficient manner
• Keep production areas clean and organized
• Pushing, pulling, and lifting up to 50 lbs repeatedly
• Use and read a tape measure and caliper
• Work 8‑hour days (10 hours for 2nd shift)
• Follow all plant safety rules and wear proper PPE at all times
• Solve problems under pressure
• Seek ways to reduce downtime
• Work overtime as needed
• Perform other duties as assigned
• Ensure all products meet customer and product requirements
• Ensure finished goods are packaged per customer specification
• Accurately fill out production reports daily
• Read engineering sheets and suggest improvements
• Perform regular maintenance and preventive maintenance of the winder using safe practices, including Lock‑Out/Tag‑Out
• Fill in on other machines such as the recut area

• High School diploma or GED equivalent

• Analytical problem‑solving skills
• Customer focus and positive attitude
• Attention to detail and number orientation to ensure quality
• Well‑organized with sound judgment in decision making
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Effective verbal and written communication with cross‑functional teams

The base pay is $20.16 per hour. The position may also be eligible for a short‑term incentive.
