STS Technical Services is hiring Entry-Level Welders in Oshkosh, Wisconsin
. This is a direct hire, first-shift opportunity with competitive pay and long-term growth potential. If you have a welding certificate and a passion for hands-on work, this is your chance to build your career with a leading manufacturer that values skill, safety, and craftsmanship.
The Welder will set up, tack, and perform all types of welding on all gauges of ferrous and non-ferrous metals. You ll use special or general-purpose fixtures—or improvise as required—to produce high-quality work that supports large-scale fabrication and assembly operations.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities- Cut, fit, heat, and bend materials to specification
- Perform weld repairs, salvage, and rebuild parts as directed
- Work in various welding positions as required
- Handle parts of varying sizes (crane assistance provided)
- Clean welds to meet quality standards
- Collaborate with team members during assembly of large components
- Utilize complex blueprints, advanced shop mathematics, and handbook formulas
- 1st Shift: 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM
- Hours may vary when overtime is available
- 1-year welding certificate
- Starting pay: $24.21/hour
- Once certified: $30.08/hour
