Position Summary
The 2nd Shift Electrical Assembler for Arrowhead Conveyor is responsible for assembling, checking quality, and supporting testing of assembled equipment. They will also dis‑assemble and prepare equipment for shipping, and support tasks within the department to ensure projects meet set target dates.
Major Responsibilities- Install wire way, cable tray, and wiring both power and control circuits of the equipment.
- Assemble control panels, control cabinets, and push button consoles.
- Perform multi‑phase circuit wiring, conduit wire way installation, and control circuit wiring.
- Understand electrical schematics, machine drawings, assemblies, and related bills of materials; match‑mark bulk container handling equipment, attach brackets and devices, and wire power/control circuits.
- Maintain quality workmanship and compliance with customer and Busse, Inc. specifications (NEC, CSA, UL). Ensure correct conduit fills, wire sizing, and appropriate parts usage.
- Use hand tools and power tools as needed.
- Maintain a clean and safe work area.
- Maintain accurate documentation: labor reporting, material issue/returns, material moves, and scrap reports.
- Solve problems using Busse, Inc. machine drawings, control schematics, and bills of materials.

- High school diploma or GED; or one to three months of related experience or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operational instructions, and procedure manuals; write routine reports and correspondence.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for groups of customers or employees.
- Ability to calculate figures: discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume; apply basic algebra and geometry.
- Problem‑solving skills in varied, minimally standardized situations.
- Interpretation of written, oral, diagrammatic, or scheduled instructions.
- Intermediate PC skills: email, basic database, word processing, spreadsheet, graphics.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- PLC knowledge
No overnight travel required.
