Job Description

As a Security Officer – Access Control Driver in Oshkosh, WI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor entry points, conduct routine patrols, and remain highly visible to help deter security-related incidents. You will interact with employees, visitors, and vendors, providing exceptional customer service and clear communication.

What You’ll Do
  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise
Responsibilities
  • Monitor and control access to the location, verifying credentials of employees, visitors, and contractors as they enter or exit the premises.
  • Provide customer service by assisting with directions, answering questions, and addressing concerns in a professional manner.
  • Carry out site‑specific security‑related procedures and follow established policies at all times.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, following Allied Universal protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
  • Report and document suspicious activities, security‑related incidents, or hazards encountered during patrols.
  • Support emergency response activities as directed and assist in evacuations or other procedures as needed.
  • Communicate clearly and promptly with supervisors, clients, and emergency personnel as required.

Minimum Requirements
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
