What You ll Do
ll apply paint, stain, lacquer, or wallpaper to interior and exterior surfaces to enhance and protect buildings and fixtures. Day-to-day tasks include preparing surfaces by sanding or removing old finishes, patching holes or cracks, mixing and matching paint, and applying coatings using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment. Some projects require setting up ladders or scaffolding, working at heights, or applying specialty finishes and wall coverings.
You ll also follow safety protocols and wear proper personal protective equipment.
This role includes travel to job sites, primarily throughout Wisconsin. Occasional overnight stays may be required.
What You ll NeedTo succeed in this role, you ll need a high school diploma or equivalent, a valid driver s license, and reliable transportation. You should be comfortable reading instructions and basic blueprints, doing simple math, solving on-the-job challenges, and working erience in commercial or residential painting (1–3 years) is preferred but not required. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or nights when needed is essential.
