Role DescriptionThis is a full-time, on-site role for a Site Superintendent located in Oskaloosa, IA. The Site Superintendent will oversee daily construction operations, ensuring projects adhere to timelines, budgets, and quality standards. Responsibilities include coordinating with subcontractors, enforcing safety protocols, managing site logistics, and resolving on-site issues. The role also involves monitoring compliance with architectural plans and specifications while maintaining effective communication with project stakeholders.
Qualifications- Strong project management skills, including scheduling, resource allocation, and budget tracking
- Proficiency in site supervision, construction techniques, and safety compliance
- Effective communication and leadership abilities to manage teams and collaborate with stakeholders
- Experience in reading and interpreting architectural plans and technical specifications
- Problem-solving and decision-making skills to address on-site challenges
- Familiarity with construction software and tools is a plus
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field is preferred; equivalent work experience will be considered
- Previous experience in multifamily projects or similar construction sectors is advantageous
