Product Compliance Manager

• Establish department processes for securing and maintaining all necessary compliance certifications and approvals.
• Work closely with R&D, engineering, manufacturing, and quality teams to integrate compliance requirements into product design and development.
• Ensure regulatory certifications (e.g., UL, NOM, etc.) are obtained and maintained. Includes support for Musco manufacturing certifications.
• Maintain comprehensive compliance documentation including test reports, declarations of conformity, and certification records.
• Partner with leadership to define department goals, set priorities, and align compliance strategy with overall business objectives.
• Provide guidance, coaching, and performance evaluations to develop a high-performing compliance team.
• Oversee department budget planning and ensure resources are allocated effectively.
• Stay current with evolving global regulations, standards, and industry trends; communicate changes and proactively adjust compliance strategies.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or relevant technical field.
• Ten years of experience with product compliance issues and processes.
• Ten years of experience working with regulatory and certification agencies.
• Experience with electronic products strongly preferred.
• Management experience strongly preferred.
• Self-directed and self-motivated.
• Good problem-solving skills.
• Good negotiation skills.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Strong ability to develop process and procedures.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional environment and with all levels in an organization.
