Suite Living is seeking a motivated, compassionate Housing Director candidate who is eligible to pursue Minnesota Assisted Living Director in Residence (ALDIR) status and is committed to becoming a Licensed Assisted Living Director (LALD). This role combines community leadership and day-to-day operational responsibilities with a structured professional-development pathway toward full licensure.

The Housing Director will support the community's operational performance, resident experience, team development, regulatory readiness, and occupancy goals. The individual must meet all applicable ALDIR and Residency Permit requirements and obtain Minnesota LALD licensure within the permitted residency period, which is expected to be no longer than 12 months. Continued employment in this role is contingent on maintaining eligibility and meeting applicable state licensing requirements.

If the individual does not obtain the required LALD license within the legally permitted period, they may no longer continue in this role, subject to applicable law and Suite Living policy.

• Initial compensation: $70,000 annual base salary, plus a quarterly bonus based on occupancy performance.
• After licensure:
  Upon obtaining and verifying an active Minnesota LALD license, the annual base salary increases to $80,000, with eligibility for the same quarterly occupancy-based bonus.
• Bonus details, including occupancy targets, measurement periods, payout thresholds, and payment timing, will be outlined separately in Suite Living's bonus plan.
• The employee is responsible for actively progressing through all applicable education, examination, experience, application, and other licensure requirements, with support and expectations established by Suite Living.

• Support and oversee daily community operations in accordance with Suite Living policies, assigned authority, and applicable Minnesota requirements.
• Work with the appropriate licensed leadership and corporate support to maintain regulatory readiness, accurate documentation, and timely follow-through on corrective actions.
• Monitor operating performance, expenses, budgets, and resource needs; contribute to planning and fiscal accountability.
• Help prepare for licensing surveys, inspections, audits, and quality-improvement activities.
• Understand the limits of ALDIR authority and perform only those duties permitted under the applicable Residency Permit and state requirements.

• Provide visible, supportive leadership to community team members and help coordinate day-to-day priorities.
• Support onboarding, training, coaching, performance feedback, and employee engagement.
• Promote a respectful, accountable workplace culture focused on resident well-being and quality service.
