Special Education Teacher

We're partnering with a school district in Hennepin County, MN to hire dedicated Special Education Teachers for the  school year. This position will begin with covering a Leave of Absence and then transition into another classroom for the remainder of the school year.

• Develop and implement individualized instruction plans for students in resource rooms.
• Provide targeted skill-building activities focusing on identified areas of difficulty.
• Collaborate with general education teachers to support student success in mainstream classrooms.
• Monitor and document student progress, adjusting strategies as needed.
• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment conducive to learning.

• Valid Minnesota teaching license with a specialty in Special Education and Tier 3 or Tier 4 endorsement.
• Experience working with students requiring targeted interventions in a school setting.
• Ability to plan and execute specialized instruction in a resource room environment.
• Strong collaboration skills to work effectively with general education staff.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
