Occupational Therapist School in Osseo, MN

Qualifications & Skills:

• Active Minnesota Occupational Therapist License is required
• Prior experience in a school setting is preferred, demonstrating ability to work with diverse student populations
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with educators, families, and support staff
• Capacity for adapting treatment plans, supporting IEP development, and documenting student progress
• Dedication to fostering an inclusive, positive classroom environment

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct and consultative occupational therapy services to students, focusing on fostering their participation and success in academic and daily activities
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to assess students needs and design individualized intervention plans
• Participate in IEP meetings, contributing expert recommendations for student accommodations and goals
• Document student progress, maintaining thorough and compliant records
• Offer guidance and training for staff and families to implement therapeutic strategies
