Schedule Notes
Mon-Fri, 3-11:30 PM, every 4th weekend required. Call required one night per week and on the scheduled weekend.
Job Title: CT Technologist
Job Summary:
Produces high-quality images for interpretation by physicians that meet the standards established by the Mayo Clinic Radiology Departments. Requires competence, as determined by competency assessments, in a variety of imaging equipment and technology. Practices proper safety guidelines for themselves, support personnel, and patients. Fosters teamwork through effective communication. Ensures a high level of service to patients through proper communication, technique, and safety guidelines.
Maintains flexibility to staff various work locations, shift times, and lengths. Performs other functional duties as assigned to assure efficient and optimal patient care.
Required Qualifications:
- Organized, efficient, and multifunctional.
- Ability to work independently.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and effective communication.
- Ability to work varied hours, shift lengths, and respond to an on-call pager, including days, evenings, nights, holidays, and weekends.
- Graduate of an accredited radiography program.
- ARRT certified in Radiography.
- Appropriate state licensure from the state in which the candidate practices (if the state requires licensure).
- BLS certification.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Radiologic Technologist or CT Technologist experience preferred.
- ARRT (CT) certification preferred.
Additional Information:
- Starting IVs if needed.
- General X-ray and CT experience required.
- Ability to work independently.
- Required certifications include ARRT CT, BLS, and WI licensure.
