Travel CT Technologist - CT Scan

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist with CT and general X-ray experience to provide imaging services in a hospital radiology department.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited radiography program
• ARRT certified in Radiography required; ARRT (CT) preferred
• BLS certification required (AHA or American Red Cross)
• State licensure required if applicable
• 1 year of experience in CT required
• Ability to start IVs required
• Ability to work independently with strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to work varied shifts including days, evenings, nights, holidays, and weekends, and respond to on-call pager

Responsibilities

• Perform CT scanning and general X-ray imaging within a hospital radiology department
• Evening shift, Monday through Friday, 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM
• Every 4th weekend required
• On-call required one night per week and during the scheduled weekend
• Uses Epic for charting
• Produce high-quality diagnostic images meeting departmental standards for physician interpretation
• Maintain competency across a variety of imaging equipment and technology
• Follow proper safety protocols for self, staff, and patients
• Foster teamwork through effective communication
• Maintain flexibility to work across various locations, shift times, and lengths
• On-site position with no teleworking option
• COVID vaccination and booster required
