Campbell Grove Talent are on the look out for an Assistant Accountant to join an established international business. This is a great opportunity for someone early in their finance career who wants broader experience and the chance to build towards their ACCA or CIMA qualification.

It's a varied role, so you'll get exposure to plenty of different areas rather than being stuck doing the same thing every day.

• Supporting month-end, including journals, accruals and reconciliations.
• Reviewing balance sheet accounts and investigating discrepancies.
• Monitoring overheads and helping with budget and forecast reporting.
• Supporting banking, payments and cash flow activities.
• Reviewing employee expenses and resolving queries.
• Assisting with audit requests and providing financial information.
• Working with colleagues across the business to answer finance queries.
• Helping improve finance processes and making better use of systems and data.
• Getting involved in ad hoc finance and business improvement projects.

There's also the opportunity to work with colleagues across different functions and international locations, giving you a much broader understanding of how a finance team operates.

You could already be working as an Accounts Assistant, Assistant Accountant or in a similar role, or perhaps you're looking for your next step after gaining some initial finance experience.

We're looking for someone who:

• Has good experience in month end duties
• Is confident using Excel and working with numbers.
• Has good attention to detail and enjoys solving problems.
• Can manage their own workload and meet deadlines.
• Communicates well with people across the business.
• Is keen to learn and develop their finance career.
