HGV Tanker Driver - Friday to Monday Shift Pattern

Are you an experienced HGV Driver looking for a new opportunity with a growing company that values its people?
We’re looking for a reliable and hardworking HGV Tanker Driver to join our team based in Ossett, working a Friday to Monday shift pattern.
You’ll play an important role delivering specialist drainage services, operating modern jetting and suction tankers to support customers across a variety of planned works and emergency situations.
Whether you’re already experienced with tanker operations or you’re an HGV driver looking to develop new skills, we provide training and support to help you succeed.
About the RoleAs an HGV Tanker Driver, you’ll be responsible for the safe and professional operation of specialist drainage vehicles, including:
- Super Suction Jetting Tankers
- Combination Jetting Tankers
- Vacuum Tankers
Your day‑to‑day duties will include:
- Safely operating specialist jetting and suction tankers (full training provided where required).
- Attending planned works and emergency call‑outs, including sewer blockages, flooding and pollution incidents.
- Collecting, transporting and disposing of liquid waste safely and responsibly.
- Completing vehicle checks before and after shifts.
- Maintaining accurate job records and paperwork.
- Following all health, safety and environmental procedures.
- Ensuring PPE and equipment is maintained and ready for use.
- Supporting other teams when required and being flexible with duties.
We’re looking for someone who is:
- A professional and safety‑conscious HGV Driver.
- Reliable, flexible and willing to learn new skills.
- Comfortable working independently and as part of a team.
- Keen to develop within a specialist industry.
You’ll need:
- Valid HGV Class 1 or Class 2 licence (maximum 6 penalty points).
- Valid Digital Tachograph Card.
- Valid Driver CPC Card.
- Previous tanker, drainage, jetting or waste experience would be an advantage, but full training can be provided for the right person.
- Experience or training in areas such as:
- High‑pressure water jetting
- First Aid
- Manual handling
