Position: Industrial Technician (2nd Shift)

Responsibilities include:

Install, repair, and maintain industrial equipment focusing on electrical components.

Program and debug PLC-controlled equipment across various PLC platforms.

Develop program flow charts and state diagrams for automation processes.

Create and maintain standards related to automation equipment.

Ensure third-party suppliers conform to TI Automotive equipment standards.

Assist in equipment startup and launch activities at multiple locations.

Improve efficiencies of existing automated equipment, which may include mechanical repairs.

Troubleshoot PLC and automation issues on the manufacturing floor.

Perform other duties as assigned by Controls or Engineering Manager.

Physical Requirements: Frequent standing, walking, handling, reaching, talking, and hearing; occasional sitting, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, and lifting/moving up to 10 pounds.

Working Conditions: Exposure to moving mechanical parts, risk of electrical shock, with moderate noise levels.
