Anesthesiology Physician

Anesthesiology opening in New York - Located in Oswego, NY - Syracuse 35m - Full-Time, permanent position - Seeking a Board Eligible or Board Certified physician to join hospital.

- J1/H1b visas welcome - New grads welcome to apply - Currently 5 physicians (including Chief) and would like to increase to 6 physicians

Inpatient;
Hospital OR is only site

Schedule:

Monday-Friday, 7:00a-3:30p (reserved emergent OR block at 7:00a for any overnight cases that come in and can wait until morning)
Call

Required:

Physician takes 1st call and are off the following day except in a PTO or emergency situation they may work the morning; 1-week day per week (Monday Thursday, 52-days/year) and 1 weekend per month (Friday - Sunday, 12-weekends/year); compensated separately if there is a need to come in; CRNA on 2nd call (ideally call would be 1:6); additional compensation for coming in for case Services include bread and butter cases, with specialties in general surgery, bariatrics, ob/gyn, urology, ENT, healthy pediatrics, podiatry, and a good volume of orthopedics, with a desire for nerve block proficiency.

The Anesthesia program is well-established within the hospital and is consistently recognized for providing high quality care in an efficient and compassionate manner.
