Qualified Accountant

Hours:

Mon-Fri 8:30am – 5pm or 9:00am – 5:30pm – 30 minutes for lunch – Office based

Salary:
From £50,000 per annum – Negotiable depending on experience

Proactive Personnel are currently recruiting a Qualified Accountant, on behalf of a well-established agricultural business based in Oswestry.

This is more than just an accounting role — it’s a unique opportunity to grow into a future financial leader within one of the UK’s most respected and largest family-owned agricultural businesses.

Key Responsibilities to include but not limited to:

* Prepare monthly management accounts and financial reports

* Oversee a small finance team

* Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes

* Work closely with department heads to provide financial insight and guidance

* Ensure compliance with regulatory and internal control requirements

* Identify opportunities for efficiency and improvement across finance operations

About You:

* Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA)

* Strong technical accounting skills and commercial awareness

* Excellent communication, leadership, and analytical abilities

* A proactive, hands-on approach with a desire to develop and take on senior responsibilities

* Hard-working and eager to grow within a business
