Legal Support Assistant – Residential Property

Oswestry
Salary: £24,600 - £26,700

Hours:

36.25 hours per week
We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established law firm for an experienced Legal Support Assistant to join their Residential Property team. This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a supportive and professional environment, providing essential administrative and conveyancing support.

Key Responsibilities
 
* Provide comprehensive administrative and conveyancing support to the Residential Property team.
 
* Take client instructions and assist throughout the conveyancing process.
 
* Submit property searches and monitor progress.
 
* Assist clients with completing forms and required documentation.
 
* Support the completion process, ensuring all related tasks are carried out accurately and efficiently.
 
* Prepare forms for online submission.
 
* Prepare and submit applications for registration of title.
 
* Manage post-completion formalities in line with required timescales.
 
* Liaise professionally with clients, solicitors and third parties throughout transactions.
Key Skills and Experience
 
* Previous experience within residential conveyancing, or a strong background in high-level administrative support.
 
* Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
 
* Excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
 
* Strong IT skills, with experience using case management systems and online portals.
 
* Excellent communication and customer service skills, including a professional telephone manner.
 
* Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise a busy workload.
 
* Reliable, proactive and able to manage multiple tasks effectively.
 
* A professional approach when dealing with clients and colleagues.
