English Teacher Secondary Schools in Oswestry Excell Supply are proud to be working in partnership with a number of secondary schools in the Oswestry area and are currently seeking a committed and enthusiastic English Teacher. This role is ideal for a passionate educator who is able to deliver high-quality English lessons and inspire pupils across Key Stages 3 and 4.

Opportunities are available on a day-to-day, short-term, and long-term basis , with potential for permanent positions for the right candidate.

The Role:

As an English Teacher, you will be responsible for:
Delivering engaging and well-structured English Language and Literature lessons in line with the national curriculum Teaching across KS3 and KS4, with KS5 opportunities available in some settings Planning, preparing, and adapting lessons to meet the needs of all learners Creating a positive, inclusive, and well-managed classroom environment Assessing, marking, and providing constructive feedback to support pupil progress Contributing to the wider life of the school and working collaboratively with teaching and support staff

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification Recent experience teaching English in a UK secondary school setting Strong subject knowledge and a passion for English Effective classroom and behaviour management skills A flexible, reliable, and professional approach to work An Enhanced DBS certificate on the Update Service, or the willingness to obtain one Why Work with Excell Supply?
