Senior Product Design Engineer Hours, Pay and Benefits £45,000 - £55,000 depending on experience 8:30am to 5:00pm Monday Friday, office-based role 33 days holiday, including bank holidays Free parking, drinks, free electric charging Sick pay scheme Commutable From:
Shrewsbury, Wrexham, Newtown, Welshpool, Senior Product Design Engineer Essential Candidate Requirements You will hold a degree in Industrial Design or Product Design (ideally a Masters, Undergraduate will suffice). Minimum of 5 years of strong industrial design skills with a proven track record of success. Proficiency of 3D and 2D design, including Solidworks with a drive to create excellent ideas. Evidence of innovative thinking and experience taking designs from concept to commercially manufactured products.

The ability to lead and inspire others, supporting and mentoring less experienced colleagues in the department. Able to think creatively and push boundaries while balancing practical constraints and commercial viability. Excellent communicator, attention to detail, methodical, ability to manage time whilst working multiple projects. Senior Product Design Engineer

Key Responsibilities The Senior Product Design Engineer will shape the companys future by developing innovative and forward-thinking products. Collaborate across teams to uncover new opportunities and drive creative solutions. Lead multiple projects from research and concept development through to production-ready designs. Push boundaries to challenge conventional thinking and deliver truly original designs. Utilise advanced 3D printing techniques to prototype, test, and refine your ideas.

Inspire colleagues with a strong passion for design and a commitment to excellence. Present and communicate concepts to senior stakeholders, including department heads and leadership teams. Deliver solutions that align with strategic priorities and support key business objectives.
