Overview
Our Pharmacy Department are looking for an experienced hospital pharmacist, seeking new challenges in a clinically-orientated pharmacy service. Are you a forward thinking individual who has the vision to deliver projects and become involved in multidisciplinary patient care? Are you looking for a wide-ranging and stimulating pharmacy experience? The successful candidate will have well developed communication, interpersonal and IT skills, a desire for self-development and organisational skills.

This will be a senior post responsible for leading on Preoperative care, Surgical care and project work. Ideally you will be an independent prescriber or be prepared to undergo the relevant training. This is a unique opportunity to be part of a specialist pharmacy team working closely with multi-disciplinary clinical teams including consultants, registrars, specialist nurse practitioners, dieticians and psychologists.
Qualifications- Experience as a hospital pharmacist in a clinically oriented service.
- Strong communication, interpersonal and IT skills.
- Desire for self-development and organisational skills.
- Independent prescriber or willingness to undergo training.

The Robert Jones and Agnes Hunt Orthopaedic NHS Trust (RJAH) is one of the leading orthopaedic hospitals in the country, with some of the highest levels of staff and patient satisfaction, as well as a strong reputation for research and innovation.
