Arla Foods Oswestry are looking for an efficient Warehouse Operative to join the team on a permanent basis.

As a Warehouse Operative you will play an integral part in the distribution of our fantastic cheese products across the nation.

At our Arla Oswestry site we pack circa 79,000 tonnes of cheese annually, 1620 tonnes per week. This includes supplying branded products like Castello, BOB and Arla Pro, along with private label to Waitrose, M&S, Asda and Aldi!

• Move finished product from the production area into the refrigerated storage area
• Complete all cold store functions including order picking, physical inventory, loading and housekeeping duties
• Load and unload vehicles, operate pallet trucks and complete paperwork
• Support and maintain safety and hygiene standards

• Ambition and drive
• Previous experience working within a similar environment would be beneficial but not essential
• Previous experience with food safety regulations and practices would be beneficial but not essential, as all training and support will be provided during induction
• Motivated team player who can work on their own initiative
• Commitment to quality and readiness to work hard to achieve it
• A good attendance record and willingness to learn further skills
