Manufacturing Maintenance Engineer (Training on PLC's)

Salary: £41,000 – £46,000 (50k OTE) + overtime.

Shift pattern: 3 on‑3 off, days only (6:00am – 6:00pm).

Location:

Oswestry, Shropshire.

Full‑time position with funded training, progression opportunities and overtime.

We are looking for a Maintenance Engineer from a manufacturing background to work on a newly updated manufacturing line and learn PLC fault‑finding.

• Carry out electrical planned, preventative and reactive maintenance on blow‑molding, packing and wrapping machines.
• Fault‑find PLC‑controlled automated machinery and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues.
• Perform reactive mechanical maintenance when required.
• Assist with and learn about bespoke systems and modern equipment.

• Training on PLC fault‑finding.
• Funded HNC and HND courses.
• Extensive on‑the‑job training with bespoke systems.

• Maintenance Engineer with manufacturing experience.
• Solid electrical knowledge.
• Ability to commute to Oswestry.
