As a Housekeeper, you will:
- Clean and maintain all areas of the care home, including residents' rooms, communal spaces, bathrooms, and offices, in line with company policies and infection control procedures.
- Ensure all cleaning equipment and materials are used safely and stored appropriately.
- Work closely with colleagues to support the smooth running of the home, responding to cleaning requests and maintaining high standards at all times.
- Assist with laundry, including washing, drying, ironing, and distributing linen and residents' clothing.
- Report any maintenance or health and safety issues promptly.
- Help create a pleasant, welcoming atmosphere for residents, families, and visitors.
- Demonstrate respect and sensitivity towards residents' privacy, dignity, and personal space.

- Previous experience in housekeeping, cleaning, or a similar role is beneficial but not essential.
- Good attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
- Ability to follow instructions and work to set cleaning schedules.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to manage time effectively.
- Friendly, approachable, and able to work well as part of a team.
- Understanding of infection control and health and safety procedures (training will be provided).
- Respectful, compassionate, and sensitive to the needs of older people.
- Willingness to learn and undertake relevant training.
