We are seeking a reliable, motivated, energetic and detail‑oriented candidate for this exciting new role. The ideal candidate will be driven, organized, and innovative, with a strong ability to work independently or in a team atmosphere. The Production Technician II role will work closely with our Production and Quality departments to further our quality initiatives and utilize data collection and analysis to drive decision making.
This role will be responsible for monitoring the moisture levels of harvest material throughout the dry and cure process, entering the data, and making recommendations based on real‑world results. Additionally, it will be responsible for the physical and digital movement of our harvest material in both our Seed to Sale tracking software and our ERP inventory system. Working closely with the team lead to facilitate the mixing of harvest material for packaging, the daily operation of our irradiation equipment and maintaining its corresponding data entry log will also fall in the scope of this role.
In addition, this role will help support the team lead and Production Tech‑1 roles as needed and dictated by the needs of the business. This position reports directly to the flower production manager.
- Facilitate system movement of harvest material from license to license in the seed to sale and ERP system
- Facilitate physical movement of harvest material from greenhouse to processing building
- Verify weight of the harvest after the digital and physical movement
- Operate irradiation equipment as needed, enter info, update and maintain the RAD log spreadsheet
- Work with team lead to mix large and small bud to create a packable “mixed bud” harvest batch
- Check and monitor moisture readings during drying of cannabis plants in dry rooms
- Check and monitor moisture readings during curing of cannabis flower after processing
- Accurate and timely data tracking and documentation of all moisture readings taken during dry & curing stages
- Burp bulk cannabis flower totes during the curing process
- Maintain an organized, safe, clean, and orderly workstation
- Clean and organize the cure room
- Follow detailed directives of department leads, supervisors, and managers
- Adaptability to change

- Occasionally assist with Production Technician 1 duties as required by the needs of the business (operation of small‑scale packaging equipment, weighing, labeling, hand‑filling and sealing of cannabis products and by‑products)
- Strong competency in organization, tracking and communication skills
- Proficiency in Excel and Word
- Ability to manage time, stay on task, and meet production throughput and quality expectations
- Excellent attention to detail
- Good attendance record
