Position: Accountant Role with Fidus Financial Team
Fidus is seeking a skilled Accountant to streamline our financial operations. This position emphasizes accuracy in accounting processes, month-end closings, and enhancing financial record quality.

As part of our dynamic finance team, your responsibilities will include processing accounts payable, managing accounts receivable functions, and preparing month-end and year-end closing activities. This role demands strong attention to detail and analytical skills to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance with accounting principles.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process invoices and manage employee expense reports

• Handle accounts receivable including customer invoicing

• Execute monthly bank reconciliations and resolve issues

• Prepare journal entries ensuring accuracy in financial statements

• Complete month-end and year-end account reconciliations

Requirements:

• Completed education in Accounting or Finance

• Minimum of 3 years experience in accounting roles

• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other Office tools

• Experience with financial software like Salesforce is advantageous
