As a Project Accountant at Dalcon, you will play a pivotal role in supporting project execution through accurate accounting and timely financial transactions. This position requires a strong foundation in full-cycle accounting, project forecasting, and budgeting within the construction industry. Additionally, you'll assemble client billing packages, provide financial analyses, and address any financial irregularities effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform general accounting functions per project contracts
• Complete accurate financial transactions promptly
• Participate in monthly financial forecast reviews
• Provide ad hoc reports for project teams as needed
• Ensure required documentation is in place for compliance
Requirements:
• Postsecondary degree in accounting or related field
• 2 years of accounting experience in construction preferred
• Active pursuit of accounting designation is a plus
• Strong understanding of governmental legislation and accounting principles
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and accounting software
