Position: Dynamic Senior Property Accountant Position
As a Senior Property Accountant, you will drive full-cycle accounting in Randstad Canada’s dynamic real estate environment. This role blends financial management and strategic partnership with Property Management teams.

You will handle all aspects of accounting for commercial and residential properties, focusing on accuracy and compliance. Duties will involve preparing audit-ready papers, managing financial statements, and resolving tenant account issues. A key part of this role is mentoring junior staff and enhancing reporting efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee accounting and financial analysis for properties

• Address ledger and tenant account discrepancies

• Manage end-of-month and year-end accounting processes

• Prepare working papers ensuring compliance with standards

• Mentor junior accounting staff and support technology use

Requirements:

• 5+ years of related property accounting experience

• Expertise in Excel and Yardi Voyager

• Relevant degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA is preferred

• Detail-oriented and deadline-driven problem solver

• Collaborative communicator who mentors effectively
