Position: Full-Time General Accountant at CHF
Join CHF Canada as a full-time General Accountant based in Ottawa. This role, with a hybrid work model, focuses on essential accounting functions to support the organization.

We're seeking a General Accountant to oversee key aspects of CHF Canada's financial operations, including accounts payable, payroll support, and financial reconciliations. Reporting to the Manager of Accounting and Financial Systems, you'll ensure compliance and accuracy in all accounting tasks. Strong interpersonal skills will be necessary for collaboration across teams while enhancing processes and systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate accounts payable and accounts receivable tasks

• Lead the preparation of financial reporting

• Maintain integrity of general ledger data

• Support month-end close and balance sheet reconciliations

• Facilitate system enhancements and ERP initiatives

Requirements:

• Degree in Accounting or equivalent experience

• Minimum 3 years' experience in general accounting

• Proficient in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central

• Advanced Excel skills for data analysis

• Understanding of fund accounting principles is a plus
