As a student position, this role supports the Budget and Operations Officer and requires working 20 hours per week starting August 24, 2026. Successful candidates should have a basic understanding of accounting, strong attention to detail, and excellent analytical skills while managing cash and payment records.
Key Responsibilities:
• Count and verify cash drawers against receipts
• Reconcile multiple payment records to identify variances
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies in financial reports
• Prepare bank deposits and cash bags for business units
• Support Accounts Payable and Receivable operations
Requirements:
• Current business or accounting student at Algonquin College
• Must have completed at least one semester of study
• Understanding of cash handling procedures
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Eligible for International Student Employment Fund funding
This role offers direct exposure to cash handling and financial operations in a college setting.
