Accounting Coordinator

About The Opportunity

Our client in the Ottawa East (Casselman) area is looking for an Accounting Coordinator to join their growing organization on a full-time, permanent basis in a newly-open position. • High volume AP- processing vendor invoices including coding, data entry, and verification
• Prepare payments according to schedule and manage urgent payments when required
• Processing and recording of Employee cash advances
• Process AR- applying payments and monitoring aging
• Respond to vendor inquiries and complete follow-ups in a timely and professional manner
• Reconciliations of bank and credit card accounts, resolving variances
• Posting of Journal Entries & working closely with the General Ledger, adjustments as needed
• Support month-end close by ensuring transactions are complete, accurate, and properly documented
• Ensure compliance with internal policies
• Provide administrative support as required

• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Post-secondary education in Business Administration (or equivalent)
• 3+ years of experience in full-cycle Accounting
• Strong problem-solving skills, critical thinking
• Highly organized, strong attention to detail
• Excellent interpersonal skills, self-starter, collaborative

The salary for this opportunity ranges from $55,000 to $60,000 based on relevant previous experience.
