At the Royal Ottawa Mental Health Centre, your contributions will directly influence the financial health of our dedicated teams. You will manage payroll processes, audit data for compliance, and prepare employee benefit documentation. Your attention to detail in financial matters aids in our mission to deliver exceptional mental health care.
Key Responsibilities:
• Process and audit bi-weekly payroll transactions
• Calculate payments and maintain benefit payment records
• Prepare required external payroll reports
• Reconcile payroll general ledger accounts
• Enter monthly journal entries and invoice reallocations
Requirements:
• OSSD and a community college diploma in accounting
• 2-3 years of payroll experience
• Mandatory Payroll Compliance Practitioner Certification
• Knowledge of payroll legislation and systems
• Fluent in English; bilingual is an asset
