Manager of Corporate Financial Reporting

Become the Manager of Corporate Reporting at Telesat, focusing on global financial compliance and reporting for subsidiaries. Lead the implementation of Workiva for improved efficiencies.

This leadership role demands managing complex financial reporting processes for Telesat's global subsidiaries. You will be responsible for equity accounting, ensuring compliance with transfer pricing agreements, and producing comprehensive financial statements. The position emphasizes automating and streamlining reporting capabilities through Workiva.

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute equity pick-up for subsidiaries effectively

• Direct and record intercompany transfer transactions

• Manage financial accounting for engineering projects

• Prepare full-cycle financial statements for all entities

• Supervise reporting for standalone accounting departments

Requirements:

• CPA, CA or CPA, CMA designation is mandatory

• Bachelor’s in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent

• Minimum of 8 years in corporate accounting

• Experience with ERP systems is critical

• Understanding of satellite operations is a plus
