Position: Accounting Associate Contract at InterRent
Join Inter Rent as an Accounting Associate for a 3-month contract. This role focuses on maintaining resident ledgers and reconciling accounts while working in a supportive team environment.

Inter Rent is looking for an organized and analytical Accounting Associate to support the accounting team. Your responsibilities will include account reconciliations, responding to inquiries regarding account balances, and maintaining accurate financial records. We are seeking candidates with strong attention to detail who thrive in a deadline-driven environment and can manage multiple priorities effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

• Reconcile resident and general ledger accounts

• Maintain resident account balances in Yardi

• Perform bookkeeping and account reconciliation activities

• Address inquiries via the internal ticketing system

• Prepare reconciliation reports using Microsoft Excel

Requirements:

• Post-secondary education in Accounting or related field

• Previous bookkeeping or accounting experience

• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel

• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills

• Excellent communication skills with a customer-service mindset
