As a Property Accountant, your role will involve collaborating with a Property Accounting Supervisor and a Core Team. You'll be responsible for preparing comprehensive financial statements and ensuring compliance with accounting principles. This position demands strong communication skills to engage with property owners and management on financial operations, with a focus on cashflow and budget management.
Key Responsibilities:
• Create and distribute financial statements accurately and on time
• Ensure compliance with generally accepted accounting practices
• Collaborate with Core Teams on property budgets
• Monitor accounts receivable and payable
• Handle property cashflow management
Requirements:
• 3-5 years in property accounting preferred
• Advanced skills in MSOffice 365 and Yardi 7s
• Bilingual abilities in English and French preferred
• Ability to manage multiple tasks independently
• Strong analytical and organizational skills
